Introduction
The Regional Conference on AI Application of Green Transport
Development in Hong Kong and the GBA will focus on computational and
experimental research in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging
technologies, particularly their applications in green transport
development in Hong Kong and the GBA. It aims to bring together
leading academic scientists, research scholars and industry
representatives to exchange and share their knowledge, insightful
suggestions and research results on all aspects of AI, green
transport, sustainable development and related inspiring issues. It
also provides a platform for researchers and educators to present and
discuss recent innovations, trends and challenges encountered as well
as solutions adopted in the fields of emerging AI technologies and
their applications in green transport, along with related policy
issues.
This one-day conference provides hybrid presentations including
face-to-face and online access. The conference venue is at the
Silverbox Ballroom of Hotel ICON (17 Science Museum Road, Tsim Sha
Tsui East, Kowloon, Hong Kong) on 10 October 2025 (Friday). We warmly
invite academic scholars, industrial practitioners, researchers and
engineers working in these areas to share their latest findings in the
following topics. Students and the general public are also welcome to
join.
This conference is organized by the School of Professional Education
and Executive Development, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU
SPEED), in partnership with its subsidiary research units, namely the
Research Centre for Green Energy, Transport and Building (RCGETB) and
the Research Centre for Advanced Design, Materials and Manufacturing
Technologies (RCADMM). Technical support is provided by teams from the
School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Nanyang
Technological University of Singapore, the School of Mechanical and
Electrical Engineering College of Hainan University, the School of
Electrical Engineering and Automation of Hefei University of
Technology, and the Division of Science, Engineering, and Health
Studies (SEHS) of the College of Professional and Continuing Education
(CPCE).
